Tariff Committee
The collective bargaining committees are a resource and listening post for union representatives and members on wage and contract issues, and are responsible for arranging local/regional collective bargaining conferences, among other things. The committees assist business groups and individual members as needed.
Local and regional collective bargaining committees are closely involved in the everyday life of the company groups in NITO. Through gatherings and conferences, local and regional collective bargaining committees help company group union representatives to stand in the best possible position in the everyday challenges in the workplace.

About central collective bargaining committees
The Executive Board of NITO establishes central collective bargaining committees for areas where NITO has, or is in the process of concluding, central collective agreements with nationwide employers' organisations.

The tasks of the collective bargaining committees are aimed at central negotiations, conflict preparedness, evaluation of local negotiations, planning and implementation of collective bargaining conferences.
Who sits on the central collective bargaining committees?
The collective bargaining committees consist of dedicated and skilled union representatives from the respective collective bargaining authorities. The tariff committees were elected at NITO's central collective bargaining conferences in 2024 and will be elected next time in 2027.
