NITO Nord-Rogaland and Sunnhordaland
NITO Nord-Rogaland and Sunnhordaland is one of 19 local branches in NITO, and we work to support and develop our members in the region. Our department is led by committed union representatives who are elected locally, with good help from employees at the NITO office in Stord. NITO Nord-Rogaland and Sunnhordaland are working closely with the other departments in the west to create a broad offer for all member groups.

NITO where you are
NITO has 19 local branches spread out in all parts of the country, close to the members' workplaces. Your local branch board works on the basis of NITO's goals and plans to support members, union representatives and business groups.
The departments are responsible for establishing and supporting the business groups in their department and must safeguard your interests. The department is an important meeting place for union representatives and members of NITO, and is a formal part of NITO's management system.

Bedriftsgrupper
En bedriftsgruppe er en samling av NITO-medlemmer på en arbeidsplass. De tillitsvalgte i bedriftsgruppen representerer og forhandler for alle medlemmene.
NITO Ung
NITO Ung retter fokus mot unge medlemmer som er i starten av sin karriere, frem til det året man fyller 36 år.
NITO Studentene
NITO Studentene er organisasjonen for master- og bachelorstudenter i ingeniør- og teknologifag. 13.000 studentmedlemmer på 25 studiesteder. Avdelingene har et overordnet ansvar til å følge opp studenttillitsvalgte i lokallagene på studiestedene.
Kurs og arrangementer
NITOs lokale avdelinger arrangerer kurs, temamøter og viktige møteplasser for medlemmer og tillitsvalgte. Kurs og arrangementer gjøres både fysiske, når nettverksbygging er et viktig element, og digitale; for å nå ut til enda flere.
Politisk påvirkning
Som avdelingstillitsvalgte har vi en unik mulighet til å påvirke lokal og regional politikk. Sammen med samfunnspolitisk avdeling i NITO setter lokalavdelingen ingeniør og teknologer; utdanning og arbeidsplasser på dagsorden.
In NITO, it is the members who govern
Many have agreed to make an extra effort for NITO. The branch board plans and implements many activities for members and union representatives during the year, and they are also an important link between the local branches and NITO centrally.

Lokale tariffutvalgsledere
Lokale eller regionale utvalg er en viktig støttespiller for bedriftsgruppetillitsvalgte. Utvalgene arrangerer tillitsvalgtsamlinger, temamøter og nettverkstreff, slik at bedriftsgruppetillitsvalgte kan lære av hverandre.
Pensjonistutvalg
NITO Pensjonistene er et viktig nettverk for mange medlemmer som har sluttet i arbeidslivet. NITO Pensjonistene arrangerer temamøter og omvisninger for alle medlemmer.

Elections in NITO
NITO is a member organisation. As a member of NITO, you are part of a member democracy that runs through the branches. Every year (around February) an annual meeting is held where you can help influence.
