Who are Samfunnsbedriftene?
Samfunnsbedriftene is an employers' association for municipal companies and other publicly owned enterprises. They cover industries such as energy, ports, waste, water and sewerage, fire and other areas critical to society.
NITO has two collective agreements with Samfunnsbedriftene - energy agreement II and the company agreement. Co-determination for NITO members under Samfunnsbedriftene is covered by the Basic Agreement with KS.
The organization was established in 2001 as part of KS, became independent in 2014 and was named Samfunnsbedriftene in 2020.
Energy Agreement II
Energy Agreement II is NITO's main collective agreement for energy companies and subsidiaries with independent membership in Samfunnsbedriftene. The agreement is valid for the period 01.06.2024 to 31.05.2026.
The Corporate Agreement
The business agreement is the main collective agreement for independent companies in the municipal sector with membership in Samfunnsbedriftene. The agreement is valid for the collective agreement period 01.05.2024 - 30.04.2026.
The main agreement
The provisions on co-determination for members and union representatives affiliated with Samfunnsbedriftene are contained in the main agreement with KS – part A and part C. The agreement is valid from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2025.
