Have you received confirmation of admission as a student at OsloMet and accepted the place?
Then you must complete the final registration by registering here on this page at NITO. This is the registration that gives you a place on the programme, as well as access to gatherings, course material and all practical information along the way.
The key to successful projects
Understanding project work is a key competence in many businesses. In Project Management 1 at OsloMet, you will gain insight into how projects can be planned, implemented and realised in a way that creates value – regardless of industry or sector.
- Projects do not succeed by themselves. You have to understand uncertainty, complexity and the need for adaptation," says Torgeir Skyttermoen, course coordinator at OsloMet.
This further education gives you solid insight into projects as a phenomenon in working life, with key aspects such as management, organisation, management and working methods. The programme combines up-to-date academic literature with relevant experiences from practice, and gives you a good basis for understanding what it takes to succeed in project work in today's working life.
Combine your studies with work
We encourage participants to use their own projects as a consistent case in the study. In this way, you can connect theory directly to practice and work with real problems from your own workplace. Experience from previous implementations shows that this provides increased learning outcomes and is perceived as particularly useful, relevant and engaging.
The programme is adapted to participants in full-time employment, among other things by having a number of digital resources available, such as video presentations, podcasts and interactive assignments. Furthermore, there are few gatherings and most digital, including some webinars, so that it should be possible to carry out this at the same time as work and other commitments. At the same time, the programme requires that you set aside time and are prepared for a part-time student life during the study period.
