What is Green Mountain Heggvin?

Green Mountain is a leading player in the data center industry, known for its innovative and energy-efficient solutions. The facility at Heggvin is a state-of-the-art data center that is distinguished by its focus on sustainability and safety. Among other things, they use 100% renewable energy to run their facilities and focus on the reuse of surplus heat.

What can you expect?

The visit starts with a presentation from Green Mountain's regional director Are Koppang and operations manager Alv Skjellet. They will give us a deep dive into Green Mountain's history, vision, their work with sustainability, and what makes the facility at Heggvin special.

After the presentation, we head out to the data center itself for a tour. Here, you'll see the impressive infrastructure and technology that powers a modern data center. You get a unique insight into how a data center is operated in practice, and how advanced systems ensure optimal performance and security.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see how theory and technology meet in an operational environment.

Practical information

There is a limited number of places – only fifteen participants get this chance. This ensures an intimate and educational experience with plenty of opportunity for questions and dialogue. Sign up quickly to secure your spot.

Prior to the visit, Green Mountain needs an overview of the names and phone numbers of all participants. You therefore consent to us sharing this with them upon registration. In addition, you are required to show a valid ID upon arrival, so remember to bring this with you.

Valid IDs include, for example, a passport, national ID card, driver's license, or bank card with a photo.
