Norway across - from mountains to future

Through social activities, nature experiences and inspiring lectures, we want to build bridges between young people and working life. This is the weekend for those who want to expand their horizons and network.

Program for the weekend:

Friday:

  • 19:00: Mingling and networking at Tøtta bar at Scandic

Saturday:

  • 10:00: Norway across
  • 20:00: Pizza - place coming

Sunday, Scandic Narvik:

  • 09:00-12:00: Lecture - detailed program to come
  • 12:00-13:00: Lunch before departure

Practical information:

  • Accommodation only for visitors at Scandic Narvik
  • Basically, you have to be part of the program all weekend, but tick and leave a comment if you just want to walk across Norway or take part in a lecture. You can't just participate in mingling and pizza.

Information about the Norway Cross Tour:

  • Meet at Narvik Station at 10.00, the train leaves at 10.29
  • Arrive at Riksgrensen about 11.23 and then the walk begins
  • The trip is about 18 km

  • Bring packed lunches for a long day in the mountains, hot and cold drinks
  • Wear clothes according to the weather and change of clothes. It's a good idea to wear a down jacket, hats and mittens in the mountains in September.
  • Good hiking shoes are recommended
  • There will be a guide on the tour who will tell you about the road and the historical places that are passed
  • Back in Narvik at about 18.00, so it will be a long day on the trip
