NITO organizes over 8000 biomedical laboratory scientists, who have an important role in cancer diagnostics and contribute to valuable data for the development of new treatment methods and the prevention of cancer.
The biomedical laboratory technicians at Ålesund Hospital invite members with family and friends to participate and sign up for the NITO team. The team leader is Monica Johnsen Årvik, bioengineer and volunteer at the Norwegian Cancer Society.
Sign up here: NITO - The Norwegian Cancer Society's Relay for Life
Relay for Life is a 24-hour event where teams walk or run to support cancer sufferers and show solidarity by always having someone on the field for the sick.
Good to know
- It is not necessary to run during the relay and for those who want to run, there are several courses to choose from
- There will be many different activities, which is suitable for the whole family
- NITO provides drinking bottles for our participants
