Over the course of two days, you will learn how to use a kayak, oar, tow and vest through simple practical exercise. In addition, you will get to know simple safety routines, exercises and how to effectively maneuver the kayak that will make you as a beginner a safer paddler.
The course gives you the certificate våttkort, which is required by most players to rent a kayak.
Day one is primarily used to practice different techniques and day two will be a trip where the technique that was practiced on the first day is repeated, as well as work on how to plan and carry out a trip according to the weather, skills and group composition.

Practical information:
- The registration deadline is final and set for August 25th. After this, the course will be opened to participants other than members of NITO.
- The implementation will take a total of about 16 hours spread over two days, set up from 10:00-18:00 and 09:00-17:00
- There are only 8 places on the course.
- The supplier has available the equipment you need to paddle.
- We recommend that you bring two sets of wool underwear, a hat and mittens (watch the weather), a change of clothes, a good packed lunch, hot drinks and a towel.
- The course has a value of NOK. 2990,- and members of NITO only pay a deductible of DKK. 500,-. The invoice will arrive in your online bank the day before the course starts.
