First aid course for you with young children

In this course, you will gain knowledge of what you can do in an emergency situation - with a particular focus on children under 1 year of age. The course is suitable for pregnant women, parents of young children, grandparents, babysitters and anyone who interacts with small children. 

It is Red Cross First Aid that holds the course.

  • Accident prevention
  • Correct notification to 113
  • Patient survey
  • Unconsciousness
  • Side position
  • Free airways
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for infants
  • Use of defibrillators on children
  • Children and injuries
  • First aid in daily life (burns, falls and illness)
  • Psychosocial First Aid

Practical information:

  • There will be light refreshments from 16.00.
    Let us know if there are any food considerations.
  • Course starts at 16.30. Duration about 3 hours.
  • There is a limited number of places at this event.
