Board, councils and committees in NITO BFI

NITO Institute of Biomedical Laboratory Sciences (NITO BFI) is organized with boards, councils and committees that work to promote the field of biomedical laboratory sciences. Here you will find information about the different organs and their functions.

NITO BFI's specialist committee

NITO BFI's specialist committee consists of members from the department's eight advisory committees, as well as an observer from the academic board.

The committee assesses candidates who apply for specialist approval for biomedical laboratory technicians in accordance with established guidelines, and is responsible for the approval of the individual candidate.

NITO BFI's Study Fund Board

NITO BFI's student fund board is managed by a board consisting of three members. The chair of the academic board is also the chair of the study fund's board.

In addition, two members are appointed by and from among the members of the professional board. The board processes and assesses applications to the study fund.

members as well as highlighting the value of technologists in society.
