First aid course for you with young children

On this course, you will gain knowledge of what you can do in an emergency situation - with a particular focus on children under 1 year of age. The course is suitable for pregnant women, parents of young children, grandparents, babysitters and anyone who interacts with small children. 

It is Red Cross First Aid that holds the course. 

This is what you will learn on the course:

  • Accident prevention
  • Correct notification to 113
  • Patient survey
  • Unconsciousness
  • Side position
  • Free airways
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for infants
  • Use of defibrillators on children
  • Children and injuries
  • First aid in daily life (burns, falls and illness)
  • Psychosocial First Aid

Practical information:

  • There is a limited number of places, so two times have been set up.
  • When registering, you choose whether you want to participate in the 1st round starting at 15.30 or the 2nd round starting at 18.30. The course has a duration of 2.5 hours.
