Kongsvinger Fortress
We take you to Kongsvinger Fortress, a historic landmark with a view of the city and the Glomma. The fortress has been an important part of Kongsvinger's identity since the 1600s, and contains over 300 years of military history. Although it has never been conquered, it has been of great strategic importance for the defense of southern Norway. Today, the fortress is a peaceful and open area, where history, culture and nature experiences meet, right in the heart of Innlandet. We start with lunch before we get a tour and get to know the fortress more.
After the tour, we continue to Nordfjeld Gjestegård at Skotterud.
